Just want to share a video of how they make yummy Tijuana Carne Asada Tacos. I had some last weekend and they were very yummy. I had one Carne Asada Taco and one Carne Asada tostada... Delicious:)
I have a friend that lives in Ecuador (South America) that is a professional chef. I asked her to send me some recipes so I can cook Ecuadorian dishes. I followed her instructions, and I feel I did pretty well for the first time of preparing an Ecuadorian dish. I will share the recipe.
Ecuadorian Bistek
Ingredients:
1 lbs thin beef steaks
2 tsp salt
½ tsp of pepper
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
¾ of sweet peppers
Mix the garlic, salt, and pepper to make a paste.
Season the steaks by rubbing a small amount of paste onto both sides of each steak.
Let rest for about 15 minutes
Add sweet peppers while cooking meat.
To accompany this you may add corn or rice. I added corn, and the meal tasted pretty good.
